MANUFACTURING CAPABILITIES

CNC Machining for Metal & Plastic Components

Custom metal and plastic parts for engineering teams, equipment makers, automation projects, and product development.

PROCESS & APPLICATION

Milling and turning around the assembly.

A useful CNC machining partner does more than follow a model. We review the part’s function, drawing notes, material, quantity, and critical interfaces before choosing a machining route. That helps keep custom CNC parts practical to make and straightforward to inspect.

  • Shafts, spacers, and bushings
  • Fixtures and machine components

PART PLANNING

Geometry, tool access and functional tolerances.

Mating surfaces

Identify critical dimensions and mating surfaces on the drawing.

Tool access

Keep internal corners and deep pockets realistic for available tooling.

Functional tolerances

Specify tight tolerances only where function requires them.

Extruded sections with different cross sections

MATERIALS, FINISH & ACCEPTANCE

Match material and inspection to the function.

Aluminum, stainless steel, alloy steel, brass, copper, and engineering plastics are common starting points. The best choice depends on strength, weight, corrosion exposure, thermal behavior, and finish.

  • As-machined surfaces, anodizing, bead blasting, plating, powder coating, and polishing can be reviewed against the material and intended use.
  • Inspection begins with a review of the drawing and its critical characteristics. In-process checks and final dimensional inspection can be planned around the features that matter most.

PROJECT QUESTIONS

Before you send the drawing

What should I send for a CNC machining quote?

A 3D model or drawing, material, quantity, finish, and the dimensions that are critical to function are the most useful starting points.

Can you help with both milling and turning?

Yes. Parts can be reviewed for CNC milling, CNC turning, or a combination when the geometry calls for it.

Do all dimensions need tight tolerances?

Usually not. Define tight limits on interfaces that require them; general dimensions can often use practical standard limits.

ENGINEERING PLANNING REFERENCE

Put numbers on the requirements.

Industry benchmarks for preparing your RFQ. The drawing review confirms the manufacturing route, capability and delivery schedule.

±0.10 mm

General metal features

A useful general-tolerance discussion point. State the drawing standard and dimension range; one blanket value does not cover every feature.

±0.01 mm

Selected critical features

A precision target for review, not a default for the whole part. Material, geometry, setup, temperature and measurement method matter.

3 / 4 / 5

Axis strategy

Compare 3-axis, indexed and simultaneous machining around tool access and datum control. The quotation confirms the proposed route.

1 / 10 / 100

Quantity comparisons

Use these RFQ quantities to compare prototype, pilot and repeat-part pricing. These are planning scenarios, not a stated MOQ.

5–10 days

Prototype schedule discussion

An initial manufacturing-window assumption for simple, stock-material parts. Finishing, inspection, capacity and shipping require separate confirmation.

Ra 3.2 µm

Surface requirement example

An as-machined roughness discussion point. Identify functional faces; sealing, bearing and cosmetic surfaces may need different requirements.

Send overall dimensions and critical features for feasibility review. Production lead time starts from the agreed release conditions; transit time is separate.

BUYER QUESTIONS

Before you send your part.

Can I ask a question without uploading a drawing?

Yes. Describe the part, intended function and the decision you need help with. A drawing is optional for an initial discussion; a firm quotation needs a defined specification.

When should I expect a reply?

We aim to reply within 1 business day · Mon–Fri, China time (UTC+8). This is an initial review target, not a promise of a finished quotation within that period.

How are confidential or large files handled?

Discuss an NDA and the transfer method on WhatsApp before sharing restricted drawings. Website uploads accept PDF, ZIP, STEP or STP up to 10 MB.

Does prototype timing include delivery?

No. Separate material availability, manufacture, finishing, inspection and transport. The written quotation confirms the schedule for your part.
